IDEA Dream Blue Remodel

When the homeowner of this East Lakeview condo visited the Snaidero showroom with their design firm Kaufman Segal, she fell in love with the Dream Blue High Gloss cabinetry—it set the tone for the entire home. Snaidero’s Shawna Dillon worked closely with the homeowners and principal David Kaufman to create this transformative kitchen.

The kitchen welcomes a bold color choice while still maintaining a peaceful aesthetic. The dark wood floors add depth, which is also represented above in the warm glow of the frosted glass wall cabinets. In between, the linear high gloss blue cabinetry defines the work area and is juxtaposed by the curved matte silver island, thus maintaining focus on the perimeter and visually expanding the room. The simplicity of the cabinet style respects the architecture of this home, allowing the color to be the star.
