CREATE CONTRAST
Contrast is an essential element in creating a modern kitchen. Contrast can be achieved in a few different ways but the easiest and most common is by using interesting combinations of colors and materials. Modern cabinets that have streamlined design allow for colors and materials to come to life.

INSPIRED EXAMPLES
BOLD COLOR
A modern kitchen can also mean bold color. Combining two contrasting and strong colors can make a visual statement. Check out the pairing of a flaming red color with the extra black matte micalized lacquer of the cabinetry in this version of OLA 25.
NEUTRAL CONTRAST
If you’re not quite as daring to pull off the bold color of OLA 25, you could go for a softer, elegant contrast by pairing two neutral colors. WAY has a simple and timeless style.
TEXTURES
Color combinations aren’t the only way to create a contrasting effect in your kitchen. The options and combinations are endless when pairing finishes with different textures. If you like lighter woods, add contrast by bringing in some cabinets in a darker lacquer or smooth metal finish, like in LOFT.
