Mario Mazzer

Objects are like words; they express the deep and intimate meaning of our being.

Mario Mazzer is an Italian architect specializing in industrial design.

He received his degree in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic and his diploma in Industrial Design from the Polytechnic School of Design in the ‘70s. He then went on to develop his craft working under masters of Italian design such as Achille Castiglioni and Marco Zanuso.

Through the years, Mazzer’s works have been shown in several museums and design exhibits and in 2004, the MoMA of New York included him in its “Design Encyclopedia.”

His firm, Mario Mazzer Architects has been awarded numerous prestigious international prizes including the Good Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award, the American Architecture Prize, and the ID Annual Design Review, among many others.

Mr. Mazzer’s first collaborations with Snaidero include Riquadro, a line of modern display cabinets for the company’s ELEGANTE Bespoke collection, and the renovation of the Snaidero USA New York showroom.
